Our blog is focused on amplifying voices from our community.  We want to hear what you have to say!

What we’re looking for:

Community Perspectives

Do you have an issue you’d like to speak out about or has affected you or someone you know? Write about it!  Give us some background on the issue, how it has (or will) affect you or others, and what we can do about it.  This is not unlike a letter to the editor or op-ed you might send to a traditional print newspaper.

Firsthand Accounts

In the practice of resisting and reforming, you may have experiences that taught you something new or that you’d like to share.  Maybe a congressional staffer responded with meaningful feedback when you called about a piece of legislation.  Maybe you attended a rally and were moved by what you saw and heard.  Tell us what you experienced, what you learned, and what it meant to you.

Context & Analysis

Has your personal or professional background provided you with information not readily apparent to the general public?  Has a long night of google diving provided you with an encyclopedic knowledge of an issue with a long history?  Tell us how it all works!

Do you have a unique and thoughtful take on a popular issue?  Share your insights with us.

If you think you’ve written something our community would like to read but aren’t sure how, or if, it fits in the above categories, let us take a look.
